Activities planned at the Jellystone Parks in Niagara Falls and Prince Edward Island are as follows:
— Niagara Falls, Ont.: A fall festival themed weekend is planned for Sept. 16 – 18 with a scavenger hunt and a free round of mini golf on Friday evening, with crafts, games, sports and a wagon ride on Saturday and a craft activity with one of the bears on Sunday morning. A Halloween themed weekend is set for Sept. 30 – Oct. 2 with pumpkin carving and trick or treating on Saturday. A Thanksgiving themed weekend is planned for Oct. 7 – 9. The park’s swimming pool will close for the season after Sept. 18, but the park’s jumping pillow will be available daily. www.jellystoneniagara.ca
— Prince Edward Island: This park will have activities throughout September, including an old fashioned fall festival weekend on Sept. 16-18. “We encourage campers to join us for a picnic with hot dogs and lemonade or they can bring their own picnic lunch,” said Rachel DeCourcey, park co-manager and activities director. “We will have several games, including three legged races, a tug of war between parents and kids, potato sack races and an ice cream social.” The last two weekends of September will be Magic Pumpkin Weekends with Halloween themed crafts, games and trick or treating.
