The park, which also offers horseback riding lessons at Legacy Park Equestrian Center and Castaway Cove Waterpark free ticket deals, still has a few cabin vacancies for Memorial Day weekend
The park is also adding an escape room, which it hopes to have ready for use by late June.
“This is going to be a neat attraction,” said park manager Debbie Norton. “Players will first watch a video to give them instructions and then they will go through a series of clues and puzzles to work their way out of the room.”
The park has also created a new activity room and snack bar, so families can enjoy a meal while the kids are participating in activities.
Jellystone Park has also negotiated discount tickets at Castaway Cove Waterpark and now offers attractive packages for multi-night stays. They are also partnering with Legacy Park Equestrian Center so guests can take horseback riding lessons. Families can use the Wichita Falls campground as a base camp for enjoying all three venues.
“We’re seeing a lot of excitements from our guests as we keep adding more fun things to do,” Norton said.
Last summer, the park added several new amenities to its fishing lake, including a covered floating fishing dock, a paddle pontoon fishing boat for four people and two single fishing kayaks.
Jellystone Park also has the magic of Yogi Bear™ and Boo Boo™, who regularly join park guests in fun, family activities and themed weeks and weekends. Upcoming themes include an ice cream week May 30 to June 4, with ice cream socials, an ice cream eating contest, a frozen t-shirt contest and a snowflake ornament making activity. Christmas in July weeks will take place July 10 to 23 with Christmas caroling, Christmas ornament making and a snowball eating contest.
Aug. 7 to 13 will be a chocolate lovers’ week with chocolate dipped pretzels, chocolate sundaes, candy bar bingo and chocolate pudding wrestling for kids, while Aug. 14 to 20 will be an animal lovers week in which park guests will learn about the ranch animals at the park, including miniature horses, dwarf Nigerian goats, chickens, a rabbit and our latest addition, Henry the tortoise. Children will also make animal masks and play games of animal trivia.
