Members of the public can participate in Halloween-themed activities on Saturdays. Tickets are available online.
Activities include pumpkin painting and Halloween-themed crafts, costume and campsite decorating contests, trick-or-treating, Halloween DJ dances with a bonfire, and a 30-minute Shenandoah Valley-themed haunted trail.
“Our haunted trail is really popular,” said Brian Newcomb, general manager of the resort. “Our guests enjoy scary encounters with Bigfoot, moonshiners, hillbillies, and haunted dolls. Parts of the trail are indoors, while other sections are outside.”
The Jellystone Park location also offers non-scary Halloween-themed activities, including a non-spooky wagon ride and a non-spooky barn.
While the arts and crafts activities and pumpkin painting are restricted to overnight park guests, tickets are available online at https://www.campnbr.com/halloween/ for those who would like to visit the park on Saturday evenings and enjoy all of the other Halloween-themed activities.
For those who stay overnight, Jellystone Park offers cabins, cottages, RV sites and tent camping. On-site amenities include an 18-hole miniature golf course, jumping pillows, a playground, and a Cartoon Café, which offers indoor seating as well as online food ordering with free campsite delivery.
Jellystone Park locations are famous for their organized family activities and themed weekends with Yogi Bear™ and Boo Boo™, which help families create unique memories.
