Leisure Systems Inc (LSI) holds a License to Yogi Bear, Boo Boo™, Ranger Smith™ and Cindy Bear™ in connection with operating and franchising Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts and certain campground related activities. This License provides LSI a unique position in the campground industry as the only franchisor who offers a widely known “celebrity” which provides on-going advertising and promotional benefits of significant value.
Additionally, there is probably no other more compatible association between a cartoon character and a business or product than Yogi Bear and family campgrounds. Yogi Bear is the essence of hte outdoors, nature, camping and fun.
It is also important to recognize that at a time when childhood obesity and other maladies of our youth are front and center as a national concern that young families spending time in places such as our Jellystone Parks can help them find a love of the outdoors and healthy habits that will stay with them into their adulthood.
